Alright, well I have some really great pictures to show you...however, seeing i'm stealing internet and it's slow to begin with here...it's pretty much impossible to upload them. I'll put them up when and if I can. We've been wandering around the city and it is just so interesting to take in the culture. We've been to the puerta del sol, el parque retiro, atocha...lots to see and do. And the best part is that it stays light until about 8...it's not really dark until around 9. We've been getting up really early everyday, actually the sun isn't out until around 8:30. I've never seen a bluer sky in a city and it's the perfect temperature- around 55 all this week. Gets a little chilly at night and in the shade. I felt so metro today...I got us to the meeting spot in Atocha like 20 minutes early and I was sitting on a bench in the middle of the square reading my spanish tabloid- QUE!. Hoy Brad Pitt es el mas sexy de la tierra por 44% y Angelina es la mas deseada del mundo por 56%!
Today was the first day of orientation...not too bad. My school is very nice, everything is marble and brick and really clean and modern looking. I think we've just about mastered the metro and the buses, even though we got reaaalllly lost last night. I think it's interesting just riding the metro...you see so many different people. Sooooo many mullets...I don't understand!
Anyway...I've got to run for now.
