"Elle, guess what?! I got bangs!!"
It was a very busy day in the neighborhood. Class at 10.00 and 13.00 after which I caught up with Laura and we went to the local peluqueria. They cut hair amazingly quick here. Washed, cut and dry and we were out in under half an hour. It was a really nice place too.
I met Matt and Verde and some others in Atocha after their class and we finally got Matt his kebab that he's been dying to try for the last 36 hours. He claims it was the most delicious thing that he's ever eaten, and I would have to say that it truly was delicious, and only 3e.
After dinner we met some others and we headed up to a little theater to see Frederico Garcia Lorca's "La Casa de Bernarda Alba." Matt claims to have only understood 68% of the dialog, and I am lucky if I even understood that. It was still enjoyable though and it was in a fun little itty bitty theater.
On the way home I found a Coronita bottle chattin' with some workers outside of a club, Kapital. I found it amusing...
We also decided to document that Spanish people are little; and Matt is tall:
But as for now, I must go to bed because I have to be up at 7:00 tomorrow to catch a bus to catch a train to catch a bus to catch a bus to Segovia for my excursion for Medio Ambiente. I like how when you get older, they give things like field trips big kid names. My excursion departs at 9:00 and returns at 19:00. It'll be another long day-- only to return to celebrate St. Patty's! I think we may go to this pub, Moore's. Supposedly they tortured jews there during the Inquisition. I think I used their bathroom one night.
But anyway, I'm all excited for my excursion, so I'm going to go get some rest.
AQUEDUCTS?! WHAT?! YAY!
