spring breakage...

Last day of classes before spring break- doesn't really feel like it though. At Marist, they pile on the work and you are just pining for a getaway. Granted I am overly excited about the fact that I'm going to Amsterdam on Monday and equally excited about Torrevieja (a little town near Alicante right on the Mediterranean) but it just doesn't feel like "spring break." Matt and I sat down last night planning out the rest of our trips for the time we are here and there really is not a lot of time left. I know two months seems like a long time, but the way it works out...we only have one weekend left available for a trip! Every other weekend is all booked up. There is still so much left unexplored!
Anyway, back to the present...Matt's at the airport now picking up his family and this weekend we get to be tourists in Madrid...meaning seeing things that we have yet to see. Palacio Real, Museo Thyssen (yay!!) possibly a bull fight. It's really amazing how much you don't see when you live somewhere...it's a different kind of seeing.
